• “For more than 30 years, I’ve built my career around one simple idea: great hair can transform how people feel about themselves. As a salon owner and industry leader, my days are busy behind the chair creating haircuts and color for a wide range of clients — from executives and professionals to anyone who values quality, creativity, and exceptional service.

• My work blends precision and creativity. I’m comfortable working anywhere on the spectrum, from classic, conservative styles to bold avant-garde looks. No matter the style, my priority has always been the same: delivering a personalized experience where clients feel understood, confident, and well cared for.

• Beyond the salon, my career has taken me into many corners of the industry. I’ve worked backstage in fashion, contributed to film and reality television productions, and participated in major events including Toronto Fashion Week and TIFF. I’ve also served as a judge for hairstyling competitions, supporting and encouraging the next generation of talent.

• One of the accomplishments I’m most proud of is the team I’ve built. Over three decades, I’ve carefully developed and mentored a group of professionals who share the same commitment to craft, service, and innovation. Together, we’ve created a salon culture where collaboration, excellence, and growth thrive.

• Giving back has always been important to me as well. I’ve acted as an executive producer for fundraising galas supporting community needs, using the influence of our industry to help make a difference beyond the salon.

• Hairdressing is more than a profession to me — it’s a lifelong passion for artistry, people, and community.”

•  With 20 years of experience behind the chair, Melissa has mastered the art of creating effortlessly beautiful hair. Her specialties? Lived-in colors that grow out seamlessly, fiery coppers, warm blondes that glow, and stunning bridal/event hair that turns heads. Whether you’re looking for a subtle refresh or a dramatic transformation, she’s got the skills (and the enthusiasm) to make it happen.

• When she’s not in the salon, you’ll probably find her out in nature—hiking, paddle boarding, or hunting for the best finds at a farmers’ market. But come winter? She’s in full hibernation mode, cozied up with a good book and tending to her ever-growing indoor jungle (seriously, the plants might take over one day).

• If you’re ready for a hair experience that’s equal parts skill and fun, Melissa’s chair is the place to be! 

• Shyanne is an apprentice stylist who jumped into the industry in 2023 and hasn’t looked back since. She’s all about healthy hair, good vibes, and making sure every client leaves her chair feeling like their best version.
  
• With an eye for detail and a naturally warm, chatty energy, Shyanne turns every appointment into a comfortable, confidence-boosting moment. She loves blending her passion for beauty with her love of fashion—because great hair and great style always go together.
  
• When she’s not behind the chair, you’ll probably find her with an iced coffee in hand (always), scrolling fashion inspo, or grabbing a casual weekend drink with friends.

• With 16 years of international experience, Yazan brings creativity and an editorial touch to the salon chair. Originally from Jordan, he spent nearly a decade building his career in Dubai before relocating to Ottawa. Known for his artistry, colour work, and precision, Yazan loves creating beautiful, personalized looks for every client.

He has also had the opportunity to style international names including Lindsay Lohan, Huda and Mona Kattan, as well as members of Beyoncé’s orchestra and dance team.
